We dance with each new note
That our minds divine from it’s varied persistence
That’s born with each new chime
Now as the bus roles on
To Maine from Vermont
I am sitting oh so still
And staring off at the hills
Like everyone else is
But my mind is wondering
Faster than my current speed
And it feels like a dream
Till I get woken up
Worn dark streets on either side
Stretch to reach my piece of mind
Watching the distance fade
And thinking of plans we made
We’re part of the dream
And we’ll never wake up
But my pen is scribbling I am
Writing a letter to myself
Addressed to no one really – No one really
